Nigel Leach DMS MA MSc FCMI MIBC
A commercially aware Management Consultant with over 15 years in depth and general experience in organisational change. Working with various organisations both in the public and in the private sector to examine the contribution of human resource development to solve organisational problems and support their corporate/business objectives.
Has orchestrated change by providing strategic thinking and establishing the development of necessary skills and leadership capability to meet the needs of any organisation.
Provided relevant management/business training from first level through to director development programmes, in order to create a competitive advantage through people.
Nigel is currently working with other local authorities and in particular is providing significant management training for the London Borough of Merton in the form of both short, pragmatic courses and Action Learning, where the benefit to the organisation is starting to be realised.
Nigel has obtained two Masters Degrees, one in Change Management and one in Strategic Training and Development. |
Robert Walker MA FCIPD MCMI
A Human Resource Development Consultant with 22 years training & development experience. Previous roles include Senior Training Consultant at the Hotel & Catering Training Board, Senior Lecturer in a management college overseas, and Management Development Manager Roles within an International Support Services Company.
Robert has relevant Management Development experience, helping managers to become more effective through improved personal organisation and performance management techniques.
Robert has a particular interest in Continuous Improvement processes from both individual and organisational perspectives. He is a qualified process improvement facilitator, training in process management and improvement techniques with the internationally recognised company PMI Ltd.
He also makes use of psychometrics where relevant to help managers understand and leverage their personal preferences to achieve their business goals.
Robert has a Masters Degree in Manpower studies, and is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, and is a full member of the Chartered Management Institute. |
Lynne Butler BA, MSc, FCIPD
An experienced, highly effective consultant with a keen interest in improving business performance. She firmly believes this can only be achieved through building good relationships with clients. Her approach is centred on understanding each organisational context, and then working with clients to find sustainable solutions tailored to need.
Lynne is very committed to the use of an holistic approach to performance improvement. She believes that people management implications, organisational culture, systems and processes must all be considered to really make this happen.
She worked at national level as a consultant with the Employer’s Organisation for local government (EO) for four and a half years. During this time she worked with a wide range of local authorities across England to improve their performance through better people management.
Prior to undertaking national roles, Lynne worked in training and development at East Sussex County Council, encompassing both in-house consultancy and consultancy with local schools.
Apart from ten years in local government Lynne has worked in both the private sector and other parts of the public sector. This broad experience has given her a good understanding of organisations of varying size, culture and complexity. Working with all levels of staff from front-line to chief executive has provided considerable insight into the real issues facing organisations as they strive to improve their performance, naturally leading her into a consultancy role.
Lynne has an MSc in Strategic Training and Development, a BA (hons) in Business Studies and is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. She is also a trained coach. |
Mel Owers FCIPD
An experienced HR professional with a wide range of both strategic & operational experience. Mel has utilised this experience in both the private and public sectors through generalist HR, Organisational Development and Culture Change roles.
Mel's strengths include excellent change management skills and use of organisational diagnostic tools including competences. IiP and Gallup's Q12 measure of culture. He has a wealth of training experience ranging from first line management to director level. His solutions-led style enables the translation of strategic goals into tangible outputs.
Mel is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and is qualified in Prince 2 Project Management.
He holds the Certificate in the Psychology of Management, as well as psychometric ability testing and personality assessment including MBTI, 16PF5 and OPQ used in both recruitment and developmental coaching.
He has been recognised by the CIPD for his cutting edge expertise by personal invitation to membership of their Psychology Faculty. |
Ken Dougan FAIA AIIRSM TechIOSH
A financial and general management consultant with 35 years experience of working with many types of companies from large multi-national organisations through to small businesses.
- Experience of acquisition and disposal of business to enhance or economise in the relevant circumstances.
- Troubleshooting on large service contracts and viability assessment resulting in direction control to maximise returns.
- Providing financial management training ranging from first level managers through to board level.
- Significant experience in working with further and higher educational establishments in delivering recognised qualifications, including DMS, ILM & NVQ, within the field of financial and general management.
In addition to being a qualified accountant, Ken has an alternative discipline in the field of Health & Safety with 20 years experience of delivering inhouse training (including 5 years in the construction industry) as well as providing ad hoc courses for local colleges.

Agneta Lindgren BA DMS MCIPD MCMI
Agneta is a results orientated CIPD qualified manager with 16 years experience in the training arena with energy, enthusiasm and the personal qualities to develop organisations, functions, groups and individuals.
Agneta has the ability to forge strong influential links with customers, clients, management and Board level in order to deliver solutions that focus on the business needs.
She has worked in both the public and private sector and most recently in a Group Management Development Manager role for the largest privately owned property support services company in the UK (£600M + turnover with 62,000 staff worldwide).
She is experienced in the design, delivery of learning frameworks and solutions to support Directors and Managers. In terms of training, she has delivered a wide of programmes including Train the Trainer, Age Discrimination, Diversity, Well Being, Presentation Skills, Managing Teams, Appraisals and Disciplinary and Grievance. All programmes were linked to the key business objectives of the companies. In addition she has designed and delivered assessment and development centres as well support businesses to access government funding.
She has worked at all levels and helped teams set Sales Strategies, reduce absenteeism and accidents.
She has coached Senior Executives including Accountants, IT Managers, Sales Directors, Managing Directors.
